Day 1 Arrival Beijing
Upon arrival at airport in China, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in.
Overnight: Beijing
Day 2 Beijing
Activities:
- Visit Tiananmen Square, which symbolizes the Gate of Heavenly Peace. Built in 1651, it represents the landmark of Beijing, as well as a symbol of the new China.
- Proceed to the Imperial Palace, the largest and most complete complex of ancient architectures.
- After lunch, enjoy an afternoon tour of the Summer Palace.

Day 3 Beijing
Activities:
- Highlights include a visit to the Great Wall, the most ancient and longest structure ever erected by man.
- Visit the Ming Tomb, which houses the tombs of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. The underground palace excavated was the Dingling Tomb where cultural relics such as the emperor’s robe and crown are displayed.
- Peking duck dinner this evening.

Day 4 Beijing
Activities:
- Morning tour to Hutong around the Drum Tower.
- Riding in a pedi-cab, we explore the city’s traditional neighbourhoods, called hutongs (literally, alleyways). Here, we can get an idea of what the entire city once looked like, and experience the traditional way of life. Among the hutongs, we can observe elders whiling away the night with a game of Chinese chess or mahjong, shopkeepers selling traditional snacks like jian bing (pancakes) and baozi (steamed buns), and hear calls announcing the arrival of the knife sharpener or cardboard collector.
- In the afternoon, visit Panjiayuan Antique Market & Xiushui Market.

Day 5 Beijing - Xian Flight
Activities:
- Transfer for your flight to Xian, the great ancient capital of the glorious Tang Dynasty in the 7th century. On arrival, meeting and transfer to your hotel.
- Afternoon city tour including bell tower, the city wall.
- Evening Chinese Dumpling dinner banquet.
Overnight: Xian – (B, L, D)
Day 6 Xian
Activities:
- View the astonishing army of the life sized terracotta warriors that have been standing guard by the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di for over 2,000 years. Afternoon visit Wild Goose Pagoda & Shan’xi Museum.
- Evening Tang Dynasty Dinner & Show.
Overnight: Xian – (B, L, D)
Day 7 Xian - Shanghai Flight
Activities:
- Transfer for your flight to Shanghai. Meeting at airport and transfer to your hotel.
- Shanghai – Afternoon at leisure for shopping.

Day 8 Shanghai
Activities:
- Today’s sightseeing includes a drive along the Bund, visit to the Children’s Palace, Temple of the Jade Buddha and the Shanghai Museum.

Day 9 Shanghai - Guilin Flight
Activities:
- Transfer for your flight to Guilin. Meeting and transfer to hotel upon arrival.
- Guilin – Afternoon tour to the magnificent terraced rice fields of Longsheng. Carved into the hillside over hundreds of years by the local Zhuang and Yao people, the rice fields, when filled with water, resemble dragon’s scales, hence the mountain’s name – Dragon’s Back.
- Late afternoon, we drive back to Guilin.

Day 10 Guilin
Activities:
- Today, enjoy a scenic boat cruise down the Li-Jiang River to the small town of Yang Shuo. Along the route, experience an endless variety of spectacular scenery and colourful river traffic which ranges from one man bamboo rafts to large junks plus an occasional wading water buffalo.
- In the afternoon, arrive Yang Shuo where you can shop at the ”free market”.
Overnight: Guilin – (B, L)
Day 11 Guilin - Guangzhou
Activities:
- City tour including Fubo Hill, Camel Hill, and the Reed Flute Cave which can hold up to 1,000 people in its enormous chamber and the Elephant Trunk Hill.
- Transfer for your flight to Guangzhou. Meeting at airport and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight: Guangzhou – (B, L)
Day 12 Guangzhou
Activities:
- After breakfast meeting in the hotel lobby for a city sightseeing tour that includes Yuexiu Park, Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and Chen Clan Classical Learning Academy.
- Time permitting, a brief excursion to the zoo.
Departure: Transfer to the station for your express train to Hong Kong (train fare not-included) or the airport for your flight home. – (B, L)
