Day 1 Arrive Antananarivo
Upon arrival at airport in Madagascar, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in.

Day 2 Antananarivo – Andasibe
Activities:
- Observe night active lemurs and other nocturnal animals.

Day 3 Natural Reserve of Andasibe
Activities:
- Morning visit to the Special Reserve of Andasibe to see the Indri, the largest lemurs on the island.
- Visit Andasibe village, which is typical of the Betsimisaraka (“The-Many-Inseparables”) community.

Day 4 Andasibe – Antsirabe
Activities:
- Stop in Ambatolampy for a visit to this huge agricultural city, also recognized as a source of aluminium.

Day 5 Antsirabe - Ranomafana National Park
Activities:
- Drive to Ambositra, the centre of Madagascar’s wood carving industry.
- Visit the ‘le col de tapia’, a type of tree resistant to bush fires. The landscape is still dominated by rice fields, pine forests, eucalyptus trees and rocky mountains.
- Visit destination for the day: Ranomafana National Park.

Day 6 Ranomafana National Park
Activities:
- Long walks in the National Park spotting some of the lemurs, chameleons and other animals.

Day 7 Fianarantsoa – Isalo
Activities:
- Visit a local wine farm for wine tasting near Fianarantsoa ‘the city where one learns good things’.
- Visit the ‘Anteimoro Paper Factory’.

Day 8 Isalo
Activities:
- Hike in the Isalo National Parkvisit the ‘Anteimoro Paper Factory’.
- Walk about 1½ hour to reach the Natural Swimming Pool. Along the way we will see vegetation like Uapaca bojeri, Pachypodium rosulatum or ‘elephant’s foot’ and Aloe isaloensis, a native species of aloe endemic to Isalo.

Day 9 Isalo - Ifaty
Activities:
- Admire the different ‘Mahafaly tombs’ and the ‘Antandroy tombs’.
- Visit of Tuléar.
Overnight: Ifaty – (B)

Day 10 Ifaty
Activities:
- Ideal place for diving and snorkelling and a popular place for birdwatchers.
- Experience the Vezo fishermen’s life.
Optional Activities:
- Visit the ‘Reserve Domergue’, a communal conservation area.
- Take a boat trip to see whales.
- Visit the village of Mangily to visit a local school and experience the Vezo fishermen’s way of life.

Day 11 Ifaty – Tuléar – Tana
Activities:
- Transfer to the airport for the flight back to TanaVisit of Tuléar.
- Sightseeing of the capital of Madagascar.

Day 12 Depart Tana
Departure: Later you will be transferred to the airport, harbour or railway station for your onward journey. – (B)
