Vivek Khanna founded Tourcan in 1987 with a simple strategy that a tour operator can work with travel agents instead of around them — and that the resulting business would be better for everyone involved.

Nearly four decades on, this strategy still holds. Travel agents bring their clients to us because we're experts in the destinations we sell. Travelers benefit from itineraries designed by people who've walked the routes, slept in the hotels, and worked with the same ground operators for years. Agents keep the relationship with the client; we keep the relationship with the destination.

Itineraries are always handcrafted. We don't resell third-party packages; we don't run a quote engine. Every itinerary on our books is one our specialists can talk about in detail, because they designed it.

Our destinations have expanded over the decades. We design journeys and experiences to Africa, Asia, South & Central America, The South Pacific and also Europe.
