Hand Block Printing at an Art Residency

Duration: 1 day
Group size: Private or small group options available

Overview

The villages of Bagru and Sanganer near Jaipur are renowned for hand block printing, an eco-friendly craft practised for centuries by the chippa community of printers.

At an art residency, a master printer leads guests through each stage, from grey cloth to finished textile. Guests then print a scarf or two table napkins of their own.
