Overview

This eight-day journey brings together three of Nepal's best-known destinations. It begins in Kathmandu, continues to Pokhara, and then moves on to Chitwan National Park before returning to Kathmandu for departure.

The itinerary allows time in each place, with two days in Kathmandu to begin, two in Pokhara and two in Chitwan National Park. This gives a good balance of city, lakeside and national park experiences.

Accommodation is arranged on a per-person sharing basis with hotel taxes included. Arrival and departure transfers, local guides, meals as listed in the itinerary, park entrance fees and applicable transportation are part of the plan where applicable.

Activities: • Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu • Visit the Pashupatinath temple • Visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square • Visit the Patan Durbar Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site) • Visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp • Rickshaw ride around Thamel Area Optional Activities: • Morning flight to witness Mount Everest. • Evening traditional Nepalese Dance and dinner at one of the local restaurant (Utsav Restaurant/Nepali Chulo/Bancha Ghar). Activities: • Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (monkey temple)-UNESCO World Heritage Site. • Boating on Phewa Lake-the second largest lake in the country. Overnight: Pokhara – (B)

Activities: • Excursion to Sarankot to view Himalayas during sunrise. • Visit Bindyabasini Temple. • Visit Hemja Village. • Visit Davi’s Waterfall. • Visit Gupteswor Cave. Overnight: Pokhara – (B)

Pokhara – Chitwan National Park
Activities: • Visit to the elephant stables. • Visit the park by canoe ride down the Rapti River. Overnight: Chitwan National Park – (B, L, D)
