Overview

This nine-day journey travels through western Turkey, beginning in Cappadocia and continuing through Konya to Pamukkale. From there the route heads to Kusadasi for Ephesus, then on to Pergamum and Canakkale before finishing in Istanbul.

The itinerary combines several of the country's best-known stops in a single trip, with two days in Cappadocia at the start and three days in Istanbul at the end.

Accommodation is arranged on a per-person sharing basis with hotel taxes included. Arrival and departure transfers, local guides, meals as listed in the itinerary, entrance fees and applicable transportation are part of the plan where applicable.

The itinerary

Day 1 · Cappadocia

Upon arrival at airport in Turkey, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in. Overnight: Cappadocia – (D)
Day 2 · Cappadocia
Cappadocia
Activities: • Explore the lunar landscape of Cappadocia visiting the Pasabag (Monks’) Valley and Avanos and visit a regional pottery workshop. • Then see Goreme open air museum. • We will finish the day with a visit to the Kaymakli or Ozkonak Underground City and Pigeon Valley. Overnight: Cappadocia – (B, D)
Day 3 · Pamukkale
Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale
Activities: • Drive to Konya which was the capital of Selcuk Empire. • En Route we will visit Sultanhani Caravanserai. • Upon arrival to Konya we visit Mevlana Museum which houses his tomb and the museum where was the center of Whirling Dervishes sect. • Late arrival to Pamukkale. Overnight: Pamukkale – (B, D)
Day 4 · Kusadasi
Pamukkale - Kusadasi
Activities: Drive to Sardes to visit the Church of Sardes. Then carry on to Alasehir to see the Ancient Philadelphia Church . Proceed to Pamukkale, the white “Cotton Castle” of the Roman Spa. See the Ancient City of Hierapolis. Overnight: Pamukkale – (B, D)
Day 5 · Kusadasi
Kusadasi - Ephesus
Activities: • Today we will visit the Ephesus ancient city maybe the greatest of all sites in Asia Minor. • Our tour includes the Celcius Library,Marble Street and the great theatre with 24000 seats. • We will also visit the House of St. Mary. Overnight: Kusadasi – (B, D)
Day 6 · Canakkale
Kusadasi - Pergamum - Canakkale
Activities: • Today we drive to Bergama which was ancient Pergamum and visit the Asclepion. • Then we proceed to the ancient city of Troy the city famous with Trojan Horse. • Then we continue to Canakkale. Overnight: Canakkale – (B, D)

Activities: • Today we drive to Bergama which was ancient Pergamum and visit the Asclepion. • Then we proceed to the ancient city of Troy the city famous with Trojan Horse. • Then we continue to Canakkale. Overnight: Canakkale – (B, D)

Activities: • Visit Topkapi Palace the ancient residence of Ottoman Sultans. • Then visit the Hagia Sophia Museum and later Blue Mosque with its beautiful Iznik tiles. • After seeing the Hippodrome drive back to Istanbul. Overnight: Istanbul – (B)
