Marrakech: City Tour
After breakfast, meet your expert guide at 9AM for a city tour of the “Red City”. Marrakech welcomes you with its majesty filled with palaces, gardens, markets, and mosques! We first view the Koutoubia Mosque with its 282ft minaret, an architectural landmark dating back to the late 12th century. Continue to the 19th century stunning Bahia Palace and discover the intricate work done by the local artisans to decorate this splendid home built by a powerful Vizir for his Harem. The building includes one hundred and fifty rooms, countless courtyards and interior gardens, labyrinthic corridors, a Koranic school, hammams, a harem, and stables.
From there we will start exploring the artisan quarters and the colorful Souks to intermingle with the real life of Marrakech people. Continue to Dar El Bacha Museum of Confluences. Built in 1910, it was the residence of Thami El Glaoui, named Pasha of Marrakech by Sultan Moulay Youssef in 1912. It is one of the medina's finest examples of Riad architecture, dripping with Moroccan Zellige (colorful geometric tilework), intricate white plasterwork, and heavy carved cedar-wood lintels.
We will conclude the tour with a visit to Jemaa El F’na Square. Located at the entrance of the Medina, this triangular square is surrounded by restaurants, stands and public buildings, and provides everyday commercial activities and various forms of entertainment. It is a magical circus where fortune tellers, henna artists, fire eaters, snake charmers, dancing wild costumed monkeys, story tellers, hypnotic medicine-men, cross dressers, tooth pullers, musicians including real Gnaoua, and acrobats gather in a cacophonic feast.
After the tour (around 5PM), head to a traditional hammam. A hammam is a traditional Moroccan Spa, a place where space and time speak an ancient language. You will be immersed in total relaxation listening to your own body in reconciliation with yourself in an atmosphere filled with water, oils, essences, and perfumes. Enjoy a 30-min. scrub done by expert hands with black soap or soothing spices eliminating toxins from your body. After the Hammam, a 30 min traditional Moroccan massage to eliminate tensions and gain energy and vitality. Tea is served in a relaxing room before you leave.
Back to your hotel to get ready for dinner at a local restaurant.

Marrakech – Imlil – Ourika Valley – Marrakech
After breakfast, get ready for some Amazigh (Berber) landscapes. You’ll drive to the valley of Imlil (1h15min from Marrakech). This region is famous for its fruit trees (apples, walnuts, almonds, peaches, etc.) and is a favorite hitching post for mountain trekkers. You’ll be dropped off in the middle of the village to walk to the hilltop where you’ll be greeted by a local family and invited into their home to share a traditional lunch served with bread and mint tea. With the help of the private guide, enjoy the opportunity to talk with the family, immersing yourselves in their fascinating way of life.
Return to the hotel to freshen up. Later, you will be picked up at the hotel for a unique gastronomic experience in the Ourika Valley. The cooking class takes place on the terrasse of a modern Berber-style villa, in a spectacular setting with the Atlas Mountains in the background. The 3-stars New York Times Chef Azzeddine Bennouna and his wife Marie will greet you at their property where you will discover the secrets of Moroccan cuisine. The food you prepare will be served for dinner with a glass of wine. This activity includes a tour of the property with picking fresh produces from the garden, if the season permits; a traditional welcome tea session; a bread making demonstration done by a native Berber woman, and the preparation of a Moroccan dish. While the food is cooking, you are welcome to jump in the pool - if season permits! After dinner, back to your hotel for overnight.

Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Fez
Wake up to the breathtaking serenity of the Sahara. Then at 9:30AM after breakfast, drive to Erfoud, a gateway town to the Sahara known for its fossil workshops and desert charm. Keep an eye out for Barbary macaques along the way as the road winds through mountainous scenery and small towns like Azrou and Ifrane — sometimes called "Little Switzerland" for its alpine-style architecture.

Fez: City Tour
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 9AM you will be met at your hotel by an expert guide for an all-day city tour of the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fez.
The first stop is the entrance of the biggest royal palace of Morocco. This palatial complex is in the center of the Fez El-Jedid area and is surrounded by high walls with intricate and elaborate decorated ornamentations. The doors are bronze, and they shine like gold. The interior of the palace is not available to the public because the king of Morocco uses the complex when he visits Fez. We then continue the tour with a panoramic view of the medina, before venturing to the heart of the largest old souk in the world in the medieval center of Fez.
The medina of Fez has not changed for centuries. Its narrow alleys house hundreds of merchants and craftsmen selling a range of products such as dates, fish, spices, copper urns, carpets, and musical instruments. One of the most interesting sites in Fez is the leather souk with the oldest leather tannery in the world. The tannery dates back nine centuries.
Also visit the Jamaa Al-Karaouine (the world’s first established university) and a Medersa (a Koranic school). Included is a visit to a clay workshop, the artisan quarters, and other souks. The visit includes lunch at a traditional restaurant of the Medina.
