Overview
This eleven-day journey takes in Nepal's culture, wildlife and mountains. Kathmandu comes first, with Swayambhunath, Boudhanath (including time with a lama), Pashupatinath (including time with a sadhu) and the evening aarti, plus a rickshaw ride through Thamel.
In Chitwan you stay at a jungle resort, with activities such as canoeing, village walks and jungle walks. Then the route climbs to the hill town of Bandipur and a mountainside resort at Naudanda, which has sunset views of the Himalaya. Next come a sunrise at Naudanda, a gentle hike to Sarangkot, and a day hike to Kalabang village near Pokhara.
Back in Kathmandu, the final day covers Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares, ending with a farewell Nepali dinner and a cultural show.

Arrival in Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu airport, you are met at the arrival gate and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, drive to Naudanda by way of Pokhara (about 125 km, 4 hours) and stay at a mountainside resort. Enjoy the sunset over the Himalaya. Overnight in Naudanda.

Himalayan Sunrise and Sarangkot
Early morning, watch the colours of the Himalaya change at sunrise. After breakfast, take a gentle hike from Naudanda to Sarangkot. Refresh there, then transfer to Pokhara and check in. Overnight in Pokhara.

Kalabang Village Hike
Morning transfer to Tilahar (about 10 km, 30 minutes from Pokhara), then a gentle hike of about 7 km (4 hours) to Kalabang village, with a home visit and a look at a coffee plantation. Drive back to Pokhara and spend the rest of the day at leisure by the lake. Overnight in Pokhara.

Return to Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu (about 210 km, 6 hours) and check in. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
