Overview
Northern Namibia & Etosha Tour is a seven-day route that starts in Windhoek and heads west to the coast at Swakopmund before turning inland and north. It covers a good range of Namibia's landscapes in a single trip.
From Swakopmund the journey continues into Damaraland, with a full day to explore, and then on to Etosha National Park. Three days around Etosha bring the trip to its wildlife-focused finish, before the final return to Windhoek.
Accommodations, arrival and departure transfers, safari guides, meals per the itinerary, park entrance fees and applicable transportation are all part of the journey.

The itinerary
Day 1 · Swakopmund
Windhoek - Swakopmund
Upon arrival at airport in Namibia, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in. Activities: • Travel to the coast. En route, visit a craft market in Okahandja and the geological formations of Moon Landscape near Swakopmund. Overnight: Swakopmund – (D)
Day 2 · Damaraland
Swakopmund - Damaraland
Activities: • Early departure towards Henties Bay. • See the Rock art and the Organ pipes at Twyfelfontein. • Packed lunch en route . • Arrive at remote lodge in Damaraland in late afternoon for 2 nights. Overnight: Damaraland – (B, L, D)

Activities: • Optional morning guided hiking trail. • Afternoon sundowner drive in the Aba Huab River and possibly encounter the desert dwelling elephants (seasonal). Overnight: Damaraland – (B, L, D)
Day 4 · Etosha National Park

Activities: • Depart Damaraland. • Visit a Himba village near Kamanjab. • Lunch enroute (own account). • In the afternoon undertake your first game drive in Etosha. Overnight: Near Etosha National Park – (B, D)
Day 5 · Etosha National Park

Activities: • Day excursion into the Park. Explore the various waterholes along the enormous Etosha saltpan. Overnight: Near Etosha National Park. – (B, D)
Day 6 · Etosha National Park

Activities: • Encounter the big variety of wild life in the Park. Overnight: Near or in the Etosha National Park. – (B, D)
Day 7 · Windhoek
Etosha National Park
Activities: Depart for Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja to explore a local handicraft market. Tour ends in Windhoek during late afternoon. Meals as per itinerary: (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)
