Overview
An adventurous cruise through the dramatic waterways and islands of southern Chile, combining remote coastal villages, glaciers, fjords, hot springs and opportunities to experience diverse wildlife in pristine natural surroundings.
The journey sails from Puerto Montt through the Llanquihue archipelago, Chiloé Island, the Moraleda and Ferronave channels, and the San Rafael Lagoon, with excursions to Quemchi, Puerto Aguirre, Punta Pescadores, San Rafael Glacier, Quitralco, Islote Conejos and Dalcahue. Highlights include boat excursions among icebergs, rainforest walks, hot spring baths, coastal walks, opportunities to spot Magellanic penguins, numerous birds, and, conditions permitting, humpback and blue whales. The cruise concludes with a farewell party and captain’s dinner before returning to Puerto Montt.

Day 1 · Quemchi
Puerto Montt - Quemchi, Chiloé Island
CRUISE: Sails on Saturdays / Disembarkation is on Thursday Activities: • SATURDAY: 12:00 hrs. Noon, weigh anchor from SKORPIOS Terminal in Puerto Montt. Sailing through the Llanquihue archipelago. Catch sight of Calbuco city. • 16:30 hrs. Arrival at Quemchi, Chiloé Island. Disembark on boats at this picturesque Chiloe village. You can visit the handicraft market, streets and coffee shops, also the museum. • 18:30 hrs. Continue sailing to the south through the Archipiélago of Chiloé and Corcovado Gulf crossing at midnight. Overnight: Cruise Ship

Puerto Aguirre - Punta Pescadores
Activities: • SUNDAY: 08:00 hrs. Navigation through the Moraleda and Ferronave channels. • Arrival at the fishing village of Puerto Aguirre at 11:00 hrs. Disembark at this fishing village enclosed at the Chono`s archipiélago, walking the streets, lookouts and the path of a rainforest. • 13:30 hrs. Noon continues sailing through the Ferronave, Pilcomayo and Costa Channels. • 17:30 hrs. Arrival at Punta Pescadores, disembark on the beach of little stones, walking 2 km approximately to the south, enjoying the natural environment of the place, fauna and flora. • 22:30 hrs. Approximately at Caleta Quesahuen or Punta Leopardos, 20 nautical miles from the San Rafael Glacier. Overnight: Cruise Ship – (B, L, D)

Activities: • MONDAY: 07:30 hrs. Crossing of the San Rafael Lagoon entrance and Tempanos channel. • 09:00 hrs. The ship enters the lagoon and anchors at 2 km away from the Glacier. Boat excursions among multicolored icebergs, if the weather allows to. • 15:30 hrs. The ship gets closer to the Glacier. • 17:00 hrs. Set sail to the Quitralco. Overnight: Cruise Ship – (B, L, D)

Activities: • TUESDAY: 08:00 hrs. Berth at the Quitralco pier. • After breakfast, passengers can take hot spring baths were the water temperature is at 32°C and 38°C, in covered and outside pools. • If the weather allows to, boat excursions in motor boats through the inside of the fjord. • 17:00 hrs. Sail towards Chiloé, navigating through the Moraleda and Perez Norte. Overnight: Cruise Ship – (B, L, D)

Islote Conejos - Dalcahue
Activities: • WEDNESDAY: 08:00 hrs. Sailing through Leucayec channel, partial view of Melinka in the Chono’s archipielago, which it was a shelter of fearsome pirates. Corcovado gulf crossing. In this area, if the conditions allow to, there is a possibility of watching humpback whales and blue whales. • Continue to sail through the oriental coast of the Chiloe Island, arriving at 11:00 hrs. to Islote Conejos at Queilén channel. • Disembark on boats and we will see at the surrounding area Magellanic penguins and numerous birds. • 13:00 hrs. We will sail between Lemuy and Chelín Islands. • 17:00 hrs. Arrival to Dalcahue, disembark and visit of this town. • 23:00 hrs. Set sail towards Puerto Montt Farewell party, captain’s dinner, dance.
