Day 1 · Madrid
Arrive Madrid – Welcome Tapas Dinner
On arrival at the airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. This evening, join your tour director and fellow travellers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant. We recommend flights that arrive no later than 5 PM so you can enjoy the itinerary from the beginning.

Day 2 · Madrid
Madrid City Tour
Discover Madrid on a guided city tour with your local expert: the Morería quarter, the Habsburg district and Plaza Mayor; the Bourbon Madrid of Charles III with the Royal Palace, the Cibeles and Neptune fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá; and modern Madrid with Gran Vía, the Castellana, the Salamanca district and the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Along the way, taste the city's classic snack of chocolate with churros. The afternoon is at leisure.

Madrid – Mérida – Córdoba
Depart for Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with remarkably preserved Roman ruins, including the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. Continue to Córdoba, once capital of the Caliphate.

Day 4 · Seville
Córdoba – Seville
With your local guide, tour Córdoba's famous Mosque (entrance included) and stroll the narrow, winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, continue to Seville. Tonight, discover Andalusian cuisine at a local restaurant with your fellow travellers.

Day 5 · Seville
Seville City Tour
Morning city tour of Seville, the Andalusian capital, with your local expert. Visit the Cathedral (entrance included), the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome, then the Santa Cruz quarter (setting of Carmen and the Don Juan legend), María Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is free to enjoy the city.

Day 6 · Ronda
Seville – Jerez – Ronda
Travel south through Andalusian villages to Jerez, home of two essentials of the Andalusian soul: wine and horses. Visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and enjoy a sherry tasting at a famous local winery, followed by a tapas lunch at a local venue. Continue towards Ronda, stopping at the LA Organic olive oil estate for a tasting of organic olive oil and a visit to the Philippe Starck Olive Oil Museum. The rest of the day is free to discover Ronda.

Day 7 · Granada
Ronda – Málaga – Granada
Depart for Málaga and explore its long history, from the Roman theatre to the Moorish Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle. Continue to Granada, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, where the Alhambra's Andalusian legacy meets Renaissance gems. Learn some flamenco steps in a masterclass before dinner with a flamenco show at one of Granada's most typical venues. Afterwards, enjoy the views of Granada from one of the city's viewpoints.
