Overview

This six-day journey explores the western side of Turkey, starting in Istanbul and continuing to Gallipoli and Canakkale. It then moves on to Troy and Kusadasi, with a visit to Ephesus before the trip concludes.

The route links the city of Istanbul with the Aegean coast and several historic sites along the way.

The itinerary

Upon arrival at airport in Turkey, you will be warmly met by a representative, who will provide assistance and transfer to your accommodation to check-in. Overnight: Istanbul
Day 2 · Istanbul
Istanbul
Activities: • Visit Topkapi Palace the ancient residence of Ottoman Sultans. • Then visit the Hagia Sophia Museum and later Blue Mosque with its beautiful Iznik tiles. • After seeing the Hippodrome we will end the day with a visit to Grand Bazaar. • Drive back to the hotel. Overnight: Istanbul – (B)
Day 3 · Canakkale
Istanbul - Gallipoli - Canakkale
Activities: • Drive along the shores of the Sea of Marmara to the Gallipoli Peninsula. • Visit Anzac Cove and Lone Pine Cemetery. • Then we will cross Dardanelles and drive to Canakkale. Overnight: Canakkale – (B, D)
Day 4 · Kusadasi
Canakkale - Troy - Kusadasi
Activities: • Drive to the ancient city of Troy famous with Trojan Horse. • Then continue to ancient city of Pergamum. • Drive to Kusadasi for overnight. Overnight: Kusadasi – (B, D)
Day 5 · Kusadasi
Ephesus - Kusadasi
Activities: • Today we will visit the Ephesus ancient city the greatest of all ancient sites in Anatolia. • We will see the Celcius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, Marble Street and the great theatre with 24 000 seats where St. Paul preached. • Also visit the House of St. Mary where locally is believed to be the place she spent her last days. Overnight: Kusadasi – (B, D)

Kusadasi
