Overview

This six-day journey is a compact introduction to western Turkey. It begins in Kusadasi, continues through Pergamum to Canakkale, and then travels to Istanbul, where the final days are spent.

With three days in Istanbul, the itinerary leaves room to explore the city after the time on the Aegean side of the country.

Accommodation is arranged on a per-person sharing basis with hotel taxes included. Arrival and departure transfers, local guides, meals as listed in the itinerary, entrance fees and applicable transportation are part of the plan where applicable.

Day 1 · Kusadasi
Istanbul
Activities: • Today we will visit the Ephesus ancient city maybe the greatest of all sites in Asia Minor. Our tour includes the Celcius Library, Marble Street and the great theatre with 24 000 seats. • We will also visit the House of St. Mary. Overnight: Kusadasi – (B, D)
Day 2 · Canakkale
Kusadasi - Pergamum - Canakkale
Activities: • Today we drive to Bergama which was ancient Pergamum and visit the Asclepion. • Then we proceed to the ancient city of Troy the city famous with Trojan Horse. • Then we continue to hotel in Canakkale. Overnight: Canakkale – (B, D)
Day 3 · Istanbul
Canakkale - Istanbul
Activities: • We cross the famous Dardanelles by ferry. • Today we will visit the World War I memorials at Gallipoli. • See Anzac Cove and Lone Pine Cemetery. • Continue to Istanbul. Overnight: Istanbul – (B)
Day 4 · Istanbul
Canakkale - Istanbul
Activities: • Visit Topkapi Palace the ancient residence of Ottoman Sultans. • Then visit the Hagia Sophia Museum and later Blue Mosque with its beautiful Iznik tiles. • After seeing the Hippodrome drive back to the hotel. Overnight: Istanbul – (B)
