Yanuq: A Tasting Menu Theatre Evening in Lima

Duration: 1 day
Group size: Private or small group options available

Overview

In a Lima performance space created by dancer Vania Masías and musician Lucho Quequezana, dinner becomes theatre. Yanuq follows Teresa, a young woman who crosses Peru's coast, highlands and Amazon in search of the ancestral ingredients her grandfather left behind, guided by Ukuku, the mischievous spirit of the Andes.

Six courses arrive as her journey unfolds, each paired with a crafted cocktail and inspired by the flavours she discovers. Around you, huayno, marinera and Amazonian dance, live multi-instrumental music and immersive staging turn the evening into a celebration of Peruvian identity.
