Overview

A day with an Andean community in the Sacred Valley, hosted by the families themselves. Children meet the llamas that have carried, clothed and fed the Andes for millennia, helping to lead and care for them while learning their role in farming, transport and ceremony.

In the weaving house, the whole family follows wool from fleece to fabric: shearing, spinning, dyeing with plants and minerals, and the symbols woven into every design. The day ends with a simple offering to Pachamama, Mother Earth, a quiet lesson in gratitude children tend to remember long after the trip.
